Rex Steel
Since 2013 owner of RAMM Safety, Rex Steel, has been an active safety and health professional working in Southeast Idaho and surrounding states. During this time Rex has been interacting with companies working at the Idaho National Laboratory, commercial contractors completing large projects throughout the Snake River valley, and small specialty contractors working in a variety of industries. After working with local contractors and specialty contractors it became apparent that there is a need for occupational safety and health resources available to businesses in the area.
RAMM Safety was founded to be a resource to business owners regardless of their size. Not every business can handle the overhead expense of hiring a full-time safety person. Some businesses have a designated safety person but with many other roles and responsibilities that go beyond just safety and they don’t know what they don’t know. Other businesses run into a unique condition, situation or hazard that they aren’t familiar with and their full-time staffer is struggling to figure out.
